Yesterday I got back from a family vacation to Mexico. You guys might think "Lucky!" or "I bet it was super fun!" but although we did have fun there, it came with a huge price for me. Our first day there we had to wait over 3 hours to check into our room because they had to clean it apparently, so we went to the beach without swimsuits or sunscreen and layed on some beach chairs. Well, we ended up getting pretty badly burned but I only got burned on my arm because I was laying on my side; the burn was almost all better on Saturday. Sunday, our last day there, I got sunburns on my arms AGAIN. Now you probably don't think that's so bad, but you haven't heard it all yet. Because I got sunburned twice in the same spot, yesterday on the way to the airport I discovered gigantic blisters all over my upper arms. It hurts so bad I even had to stay home from school today. Along with the pain, I can barely move my arms up to shoulder height. My mom wants me to go back to school tomorrow but I probably won't even be able to carry my stuff!! I know for sure I can't put my backpack on so I would have to drag it or just freaking carry it. Also I probably got about 5 hours of sleep because I can't fall asleep on my back and I'm not allowed to sleep on my sides like I usually do because of the blisters. So going to school will be very hard if that's what I have to do, especially with so many people in my school that'll bump into my arms which will probably shoot pain all over.
So all I can do is hope that my arms will get better soon, because even if I don't go to school tomorrow I'll definitely be forced to go the day after.
